About Wapacaster

Wapacaster was developed for image publishers, for example photobloggers, photographers and others. This is a service for publishing images directly to the desktop as wallpaper. The images are grouped into channels, like on TV. The publishing  mechanism consists of two parts: the client software and the web service. The client software downloads and changes the wallpaper. The web service allows the publisher to upload new images.

The customers mostly deal with the client software and the publisher - an internet web service ( wapacaster.com ).

To start such wallpaper web casting the publisher should register a new channel (open an account) for free. Then he gets links to the client software with his new channel as a default channel and a permission to publish the images in this channel. To view the wallpapers, customers should install the software. Hence, the links to the software should be placed on the publisher's site or promoted by the publisher by some other way.

Wapacaster is free both for customers and publishers. For customers, the Sponsored Link window is displayed. There are several paid ways to hide it.
